"My experience with Jason of Natty Nutrition began over a year ago when I posted on the Muscular Development Forums asking for advice on contest diet. I had been saying I was going to compete for years, but did not really understand what it took obtain the level of conditioning required to step on stage. I was determined to go through a “trial run” of a diet to see what my body could do, primarily from my own research on diet and training. Before this point I had never seen even an outline of my abs or a body fat percentage lower than 10%. With about 4 weeks left to go in my trial run I decided to post to MD looking for feedback, where Jason was very diligent and friendly about guiding me in the correct direction. Four weeks later I finished my “trial run” and was happy with the changes I’d seen from Jason’s recommendation, but knew it would take more to be competitive on stage. In the back of my mind I considered working with Jason one on one should I ever consider a true contest prep. Fast forward to over a year later, where one day I happened upon another member at my gym practicing his posing in preparation for an upcoming competition. As it turned out, he was using Jason for his prep, and the results showed. Let me quote this member as I remember his advice, “Work with Jason, and start now!”. All I can say at this point is that I’m glad I took his advice. Jason worked with me through 12 weeks of contest prep and provided the most thorough explanations for all pieces involved. He was always very responsive to my questions as well, often I would email Jason from my phone while at the grocery store about a product to buy, and have the answer before I made it to the checkout. Although there were times of struggle through the 12 weeks, for the most part I can say that Jason’s diet was “easy”. He worked with me to choose foods that would work well for me and not make me to suffer. After taking 2nd place in both the novice and open classes of my first competition, I am convinced that the conditioning Jason helped me achieved on stage is responsible for the medals that sit on my mantle today!"
