“A few years ago when I turned 40 I started to take a much stronger interest in health and fitness. After many years of neglecting my body by smoking, lack of exercise, and eating wrong, I was very lucky to meet a couple of people who got me on the right track. In those early days my focus was purely on working out and building confidence while getting stronger and gaining endurance. After some very good progress, I started to realize that the next step was nutrition. I needed to learn to eat the right way. A friend of mine steered me toward a trainer that she knew, Joe Daniels. Joe started to teach me the basics and understanding about food, energy, and the balance of proteins, carbs, and fats in the diet. Joe introduced me to Stephaney at Natty Nutrition. I started working with Stephaney in August of 2010. At that time I weighed about 190 lbs and was about 17% bodyfat. Adding Stephaney's guidance on diet and cardio to Joe's workouts, in less than a year I dropped over 5 lbs of fat while gaining nearly 8 lbs of muscle and decreasing my body fat by 600 basis points right at 11%. And amazingly, I had more energy and ate more and more often than I had ever before. Stephaney was awesome at gradually reducing and then increasing my calories over several months time making the transition very manageable and the results awesome.
